The HTS-A series is an primary quartz accelerometer sensor which is used in strapdown inertial navigation systems on commercial and military aircraft. The long-term repeatability and excellent reliability characteristics of the HTS-A series quartz flexible accelerometers make it the best value inertial navigation grade accelerometer on the today‘s market.

Like the entire Q-Flex technology family of quartz accelerometers, the HTS-A series features the patented Q-Flex etched quartz flexure seismic system, with an amorphous quartz mass structure that provides superior bias, scale factor and axis alignment stability.

Integrated electronics generate an output current proportional to acceleration, and provide the static and dynamic acceleration measurements. The output current can be converted to a voltage by using a customer-supplied output load resistor, appropriately scaled for the acceleration range of the application.

The HTS-A series is available in three performance grades to meet the customer's performance requests.
