The quartz pendulum assembly is a key component of the quartz flexible accelerometer for sensitive inertial force measurement of acceleration. It is made of an integral quartz accelerometer pendulum, with a force generator coil glued to each side of the center of the pendulum, and the flexible head as the swing axis, forming the active part of the force generator. Its lead is led out from the gold-plated lead of the quartz pendulum through the quartz flexible head. The force generator coil is composed of an aluminum alloy frame and enameled wire wrapped in the frame.

The quartz accelerometer pendulum is the core component of the quartz flexible accelerometer. From the perspective of use, the most easily damaged part of the quartz flexible accelerometer is the double flexible support beam of the pendulum. The quartz accelerometer pendulum is made of high-purity synthetic optical quartz glass, while the flexible support beam is made by chemical corrosion. The thickness of the beam is difficult to control. The quality of the flexible support beam is related to the process method and the technical proficiency of the workers.
